delete function - not recognized

Hello everyone, and I apologize for my poor English... I made an action where by pressing a button on the controller (I tried it on Alesis Vi25) I want to send to the program the command "delete" from the keyboard. It works with the Alesis controller and deletes letters when I try it in the notpad, but it doesn't delete the clip in Ableton, as the "delete" key on the laptop keyboard does. What am I doing wrong and how is that possible? Shouldn't the instruction from the laptop keyboard work the same in all programs, whether the button is pressed with a finger, or emulated via midikey?

There are different methods of emulating keypresses. MK2K only uses one. Others with be implemented in upcoming versions.
It is possible, that extra/special keys are not working in ervery software/game.
