Issue having different buttons triggering the same action

Post by heliognr »

Hello everyone.
I am trying to configure midikey2key with my novation Launchkey mini 25, so I can press a button and it "presses" the spacebar, and then another button to "press" numpad 3. This is to enable to use only my midi keyboard to hit space and numpad 3 to play/pause and to Record on Protools.
The problem is that I can configure a button to do any of that action with no problem.. but all the other buttons also trigger the first action that I configured on the first button.. Please help

I send picture so you can help me:

Your Control message is sending a CNTL, nmot a NoteOn/Off Why?
value 1 is "undefined106" or ...107. SO this Controller By te might be not recognized as a valid MIDI message.
But, You are telling, an action is performed at the same MIDI event. Did You check "react on 2nd value"? You should not.

I di not know, why You arte troiggering with these unsupported controls.
Is Your action really listening on B06B / B06A?

If here nobody responds, try using discord.
Posting problems here is better in genernal, because they stay longer and in a better sorted way.

I'm having the same issue, I'm using an alesis nitro mesh electric drum set.

For example if I hit the snare I see the hex code as 992600 as the last signal sent. If I map this code to press the key "A" it works just fine.
However when I try to map something else, like one of the toms. I get the code 992B00, If I map this to press the key "B" it gives an error saying that its already used. If I bypass, both the snare and tom trigger both events at the same time. If I edit the action I can see that it ignores the two middle characters and shows up as "99xx00" on both actions. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

This is not the same problem.
Check the .ini to see what is in there and maybe edit it manually. If You do not understand it, post the ini here.
